Richard Buckminster Fuller was an author, architect, designer, inventor and systems theorist,. He published more than 30 books and created many inventions and architectuarl designs. Buckminster Fuller was the second president of Mensa, the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Ronald Regan in 1983.

Fuller was noted for finding ways of doing more with less so that all people everywhere can have more and more. He developed many ideas, designs and inventions regarding practical, inexpensive shelter and transportation. He is credited for popularizing Geodesic domes. (Source – Wikipedia)
